OHM Space Plane Eridanus 1.11

This is VERY strange!! I installed Eridanus 1.1 on two different orbiter folders and animations are all right! How is it possible?
Maybe are you running a new orbiter beta version or something like that?
 
Fausto, can this be put on an orbiter install, with the original Eridanus, or not?


Yes, but before installing it i suggest to delete all scenario files included in the "SpacePlane Eridanus" folder.

Some people on FOI reported that this bug is due to a mulfunction in the "Playload bay operation" bar. It seems, when the Ku-band antenna selector is switched to "stow" everything works properly.

The bar opens clicking CTRL + SPACEBAR

Can someone confirm it?

OK,Fausto I found a bug while using version 1.11 with the crew members,lets say you assign just the Commander,and Pilot to a launch scenario,after LEO you go and open the eriandus airlock,after you close the airlock all the crew that wasn't assigned to that scenario MS1,through MS5 magicaly appear in their seats,this also has happens too when I EVA a captain,or a pilot they also appear again in their seats after closing of the airlock,even though they are still on EVA.Thanks

One question: did you hit A key to open tha airlock, or you opened it switching Virtual Cockpit switch?

However, i'm pretty sure where the wrong line codes are hidden..
 
Hi,Fausto, I hit the A key.I didn't try the virtual cockpit switch in the latest version yet,also seeing the hud reflections on the back walls of the shuttle when switching to back seat,or cargo bay windows view.

Hi Fausto,

I also have an EVA problem with version 1.11! I just intended to reenter (with MS3) Eridanus through the airlock, but when pressing "E" on the keyboard Orbiter crashed. I tried it several times - always with the same result. Any idea, what the problem could be. I opened the airlock using "A", not the switch in the virtual cockpit.

Another question, is Esperia already included in the 1.11 package and if so, how can I get a hold of it for a scenario?

I tried to EVA MS3 and to get him back on board and no problem was found.. in which scenario did you have the crash?
 
Was one of my own scenarios building a new station in LEO. Might it be a conflict with another spacecraft? In that case I will just try the same EVA in one of your Eridanus scenarios.

What about Esperia?

Great! Will there be major differences between the two orbiters?

Ok, Fausto, standard scenario EVA works fine, so it must be a conflict with one of the other spacecraft.

The main difference could be a push escape system, instead of the pull one now serving on Eridanus.. then, some texture differences...
 
OK,Fausto,I found a couple of bugs,the right,left,up,down buttons do not work in the 2d cockpit,they only work in the glass cockpit,and during reentry,when the Eridanus temp gets to hot,and the ship explodes it CTDs.
 
Ciao Fausto,

one thing I just came across while docking Eridanus to a space station. Would it be worth considering opening the docking nose cone downward instead of sideways? When opened sideways, as it is now, it basically blocks the port side RCS thrusters. There are no thrusters on the bottom side so the nose cone would not be blocking anything there.

Your remark is right.. however changes in animations are not in our plans, currently.. the next spaceplane of our fleet (Esperia) could get thisimplementation!
 
Hello Fausto,I am asking if you could please add in a 9min countdown,before the launch,as an option in a future version,so that way we could see the crew arm retracted from the Eridanus,like the way NASA did it with the Space Shuttle?Thanks:thumbup:

Alright Fausto I have a problem,I was turning off the particle effects in the visuals tab in orbiter 2010P1 launcher,just to see how much frame rate it robs,now I turned it back on,and it seems that all of the scenarios of yours, that start it with the rockets venting out gas,or smoke such as the quasar,jarvis,ect,ect,are not starting with it on anymore,seems I have to now turn it on manualy with the hovers,and the main engines keys.
Anyway I could get the smoke,or gas venting to be on auomatically when the scenarios start again?Thanks
