Space Shuttle Ultra 1.25 Revision B development

Not that far yet, I can just trigger a change of the orientation to hard coded values. Even with bypassing the GCIL stuff, the aft panels around the KU band antenna would need a while more until you can use them.
OK, but how is the animations of the antenna looking? Anything that needs improvements or change?

Can't tell yet, the fixed animations seem to fit.

SiameseCat: Would you be willing to work on the Crawler Transporter while I work on the VAB? In that case, please contact Tschachim of Project Apollo(http://sourceforge.net/projects/nassp/) about using their Crawler Transporter code.

I was involved with creating the meshes/textures for that, and he has expressed his permission in the past about using the CT code in other add-ons.

Latest VAB work. The east High Bays are almost structurally complete. Decided to add the concrete floor and transfer aisle markings. Turned out pretty good, better than I thought actually!

Just to give you the orientation of the image:
The east High Bays are to the left while the west High Bays are to the right. The visible bays are 3 on the left and 4 on the right.

Would even be less a problem since we use a compatible license to Project Apollo.

DaveS: At the moment, I'm working on converting the older panels to use the new system; I'll start on the crawler code once I finish this.

In preparation for supporting VAB ops, I have started work on breaking up the SRBs into individual segments. So far the left SRB segments are nearly done.

Hmm, but how to make the assembly... I think I could do such stacking ops inside the MLP, but that is just a first idea... I have no clue yet how to do this.

Well, not only is the Crawler already thought out but so is the VAB and stacking ops! All in Project Apollo. Did the VAB there as well.

How about introducing a random factor into SRB stacking? There's no restrictions in which order the segments are stacked.

I think there is a plan for stacking the segments how they are placed on the railway cars. Otherwise, you would have pretty strange operations.

Well, I have seen them stack the boosters in quite unusual ways, like doing half the left booster then starting with the right booster.

Hmm... ok.... makes it not easier to implement though.

SiameseCat: Have you begun work on the Crawler yet? Just wondering.

DaveS: I probably won't start on the crawler for a few weeks; I haven't had much time to work on SSU lately, and I want to update the older panels before I start on the crawler.

Roger that. For the new R2 panel: The ET umbilical door talkbacks have a bug in them which makes them show the doors as open when they are in fact closed and latched.

For Donamy:
I have noticed some texturing errors on the orbiter, the forward radiator panels and the OMS pods forward texture. Contact me on IM when you're able and I'll detail the errors.

Here's a screenshot of the panel 1 texture error. Notice how the texture gets distorted on the first panel?

And for the OMS pod texture problem: The problem here is that the black HRSI tiles is located too far outboard compared with the real OMS pods.

DaveS,
you messed up the file name on that
