This is the initial release of the STS Expansion pack for flight STS-127. This package includes payloads created by Don Gallagher ("Donamy") and at present contains one FD1 launch scenario based upon a 6/13/09 launch. The middle of the current predicted launch window is 11:19:50 UTC. The package contains two launch scenarios, one for users of the Med/Hi-res expansion pack, and one scenario for users of the default expansion pack.As better state vectors become available, the package will be updated.This package should be installed over a complete STS Expansion Pack installation only.

Found an issue. I noticed that there is no attachment point on the EF for the ELM-ES.
 
The updated STS-127 payload is in the ISS Experience v3.

You do have the option to add your own as the ini files are available for editing. Absent that option, you can either download Don's updated files as he mentioned, or wait for an update to the Expansion pack and if I have the time, I'll add the attachment point. I'm working with updated state vectors now, but real-world work is keeping me very busy this week. I hope to release updated packages by the launch this weekend.
 
I'm having trouble with the MPMs in all the 237 scenarios placed outside the orbiter and misaligned. When I inspect the scn file the correct ODS and OBSS commands exist and the PL# lines seem to indicate the scenario has been converted. The OBSS appears to be located properly.

Having trouble understanding you problem here. Is is a problem with the STS-127 Expansion pack, or all expansion pack scenarios? Please post one of the scenarios you are having problems with and if you could post a picture of the problem that would also be helpful. Otherwise, I don't understand the problem as you've described it. Sorry...

In every sts127 scenario I tested (4 so far) the supports for the sensor boom are located about 4-6 feet to starboard of the closed payload bay doors. All other objects docked with the shuttle seem to be properly placed. I could not locate an email address in the manual or this forum for sending a pic. Thanks for your quick response.

Post a scenario and picture here in this thread please. One question, are you using the latest version of the shuttle fleet (i.e., Service pack 2, which contains version V4.1.9, available at: [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3744"]Shuttle Fleet V4.1.9 (SP2)[/ame])?

Other mission objects in the bay appear aligned correctly including the Japanese pallets.

All the scenarios in the original STS127 scenario forlder (for the 17) have the alignment problem.

Attached Image of the scenario started in pause mode with no action taken. I had a similar problem with STS 126 scenarios when 1st released and I was able to use the ODS and OBSS commands to align them automatically. No technique I have tried seems to work with these 127 scenarios.

Using the scenario provided I cannot reproduce this problem. You are using an otherwise "clean" installation that contains no other add-ons, correct? What are your system specs and operating system?
 
It would be nice to have some phantom idea of what to do...
I have 4.1.8 working perfectly in all scenarios...
then I installed the STS-127 and no love... CTD with no Jemorbit.msh.. So I installed the ISS 2 and 3... and then the problem shifted to MBS... so I installed the SSU and at that point the MBS was 90 degress off in the shuttle.
And all previous scenarios CTD...
So glad I always back it up....
It would be nice to know what we need to make this work.

Dave413. could you perhaps make a list of addons and the order of installation to get this amazing mod running with all scenarios?...
Also the updates are scattered all over the forums...wow.

I hope this doesn't make you mad (seems it bugs you when we have issues) but it is very complicated to get this running and I always sweat heavy drops when an update comes out...

I am very thankful for the hard work, however.
 
The only add-ons I have in this dedicated folder to Shuttle Fleet is add-ons I've been able to identify required to operate Shuttle Fleet scenarios past and present. I was unable to identify an installation guide (or list of required add-ons) with this latest release, so I assumed the list supplied with the last Shuttle Fleet which contained such a list is still valid (1.5 or so?)

OS: WinXP Pro SP3
CPU: AMD 2.8 Ghz Dual Core
System Mem: 4 Gig
Audio: Audigy card
Video: ATI X1950 512M Mem
Controller: Thrustmaster Afterburner FFB

All System and component drivers are up to date.
 
The expansion packs have been updated for STS-127 at Orbithangar now. If you install the Main expansion pack, and follow the instructions in the setup document, you should have no problem with these scenarios. I always re-build my Orbiter installations from scratch, following my own instructions to ensure that the expansion packs work. I have four different installations right now (hi res, med res, slat's pads, just the expansion pack series) and they all work fine. If you added other add-ons (such as SSU, etc.) then the config files may have been over-written.

The folder I run Shuttle Fleet from only has add-ons I have found in Shuttle Fleet documents. I will check out the updates. Thanks.

Note: When I remove the "Ultra_MPMs:spacecraft\spacecraft3" definition section from the scenario, the misaligned objects go away and I'm able to continue the scenarios. If there are updates to the Ultra_MPMs which has the dimensions required to use these scenarios, I've not been able to find them. Note also the Ultra_OBSS (which I got from the same archive which contains the MPMs) appears to align properly without any changes on my part.

Thanks for the installation update. I see those STS payloads have yet again a long list of other "required" add-ons.

Installed the files on the image I attached (screen capture) in the order of their names..
And triggered the first log (in the Rar) so I used my Sol Alt (on the rar) copied it and it triggered the second log (on the rar).

I guess it did not attach the rar files...

No where in this installation did you install the MAIN STS Expansion Pack([ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3846"]STS Expansion Pack V4.1.8 (Special Edition)[/ame] since you are installing the HI-Res KSC). That should be the last package installed, (to create the Expansion pack series) THEN install the correct STS-127 Expansion Pack (the one you have listed in the picture is for the basic Expansion pack without HI-Res KSC, try this one instead: [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4038"]STS-127 Exp Pack for Med-Res KSC users[/ame]).

The description on Orbithangar for the STS-127 Expansion packs specifically states "This package should be installed over a complete STS Expansion Pack installation only." That is why you didn't have SOL_ALT, it is loaded by the basic Expansion Package (which is what the setup documents are for and list for installation...)

Hopefully this will straighten out your installation problems. In summary, load the basic expansion pack after all the other packages, THEN install the STS-127 specific package.
