That is incorrect. There has been an international arrest warrant out on Polanski for 30 years. You make it sound like the LA District Attorney just decided to file for the arrest warrant which isn't correct.

It isn't? well, that's better then. It did indeed seem to me as if the LA district attorney just filed it last week, since Polanski was moving freely. Pops up the question why they didn't arrest him before if the warrant was out?

This is one of the biggest problems with the justice system in the United States. When someone, for example, gets a stronger sentence for "texting" while driving, than someone who drives while under the influence, something is wrong.

I'm not sure texting while driving deserves more of a fine than driving under the influence, but either one cuts into your ability to control your vehicle properly severely. They should definitely carry similar penalties.


When sexual assault felons get a slap on the wrist, while someone kills a dog gets 15 years to life. We have things mixed up people.

Wow. On the one hand, knowing the asylum that is modern America, I can believe that killing a dog could get you 15 years to life. OTOH, I can't believe it. It's just too surreal. Where did you hear this one?
 
But the real question is: Would Donald be allowed to own a gun legally?
