News UK mini-Ice Age

You've got to remember that earth is a living organism... of sorts. the cold winters are an attempt at fighting off an infection, just as your immune system would. the infection is the Co2 in the atmosphere, and it's being caused by cancer... of sorts. you can work out what the cancer is.

Nope, still makes no sense.

I live in Maine, so I'm no stranger to snow. It hasn't been above freezing since early December, actually. The usual.

Referring to your own species as a "cancer" is something I've never understood. There's nothing productive in self-hatred. And you won't win any points with those of us that actually like being alive.

I hope I now have 5 years for finding a technical solution for such winters. I would prefer having a bucket wheel excavator now.

I think it would be cool to have heated walks and driveway, but that's a little expensive to install and maintain. So I would settle for a nice flamethrower.

Heheh... I wonder how effective such a contraption would be against snow.

Interesting article I stumbled across earlier, confirming my opinion that climate change is just a cycle, and that if you look at history over a geological scale, we're still in an ice-age anyway.

Doesn't change the fact that Southerners can't deal with a few flakes of snow though. :P

We are in an ice age, in what is called an interglacial period.

I do not share your views, I'm just stating the truth.

Would you believe me if I said Global Warming?
May be a bit old, but the seasons are more radical, and not every year the temperature has to rise.

It still is significantly warmer here than usual, noticeable for the past few years.
