With the scenario "save the " of delta glider 5 I though I was in orbit since I see myself kilometers above the ground with F1 so I struggled to understand what I was seeing on orbit display but no, I'm supposed to be on the surface, I'm just displayed way above.

Are you using the beta? Need more info, I can't reproduce your issue with the data given.

I'm using orbiter 2010 p1, latest delta glider 5 mode and orbiter sound, nothing else I think. I'm on windows 7 64-bit. Well, it doesn't matter much since it seems to happen only with this scenario, I posted this more in case someone experienced this already and immediately came up with a hotfix but thanks for the very quick answer.

The "Save the Idiot" mission?

The scenario starts from Drank's point of view, EVA high above Europa.
The DG IV, is on the nightside, and does appear to be above ground. But I think it's a mesh, texture thing (hard to explain).

If you sacrifice Joe, you can fast forward the time index until the sun rises. You'll see that it's parked on the surface. Move the camera around and you'll see the DGIV shadow. It does look kind of odd to swivel the camera view around too far to the side. If you do that it does appear that the DG is floating above the surface. It's just a current limitation. In the meantime, just go with it, you've got an idiot to save before he runs out of O2. Who hired this Joe Drank guy anyway?
