Which planets have you visited?

After seeing all of the trips to Mercury threads, I've become curious as to which planets Orbinauts have visited. Since it's entirely possible to use the scenario editor to put yourself into orbit around each planet, it only counts if you start at Earth and go out (or inward).

Personally, I've landed on Mars, orbited Jupiter and Neptune, and slung past Saturn and Uranus. However, I only orbited around Neptune for a single pass of one of its moons. Then I roasted in its atmosphere.

As far as moons I've landed goes, I've landed on the Moon and Io. I may increase that number later. However, it will probably involve bases on the various gas giant moons.

I visited mars, mercury, venus(don't know exactly), jupiter, saturn, neptune, uranus(only for a slingshot).

Moons I have visited moon, some gallilean moon (not all), phobos.

As pluto is not a planet I post it extra. I have visited pluto once, but not charon in particular.

I don't have visited all jupiter moons. I could visit some more in future.
I also could visit some neptune moons or uranus moons.

I've been to mars once in the DGIV and I can go to the Moon pretty regularly. I plan on visiting all the planets when the Arrow comes out, though.

I also visited almost everything in the list but I don't remember on every flight. Because I just not remember on everything what I've done in orbiter a few years ago.
But it's still interesting to see where all the orbinauts where.

Now that I think of it, I've actually visited pretty much every rock between the orbits of Earth and Jupiter, but not much else. I should really do a trip to the outer gas giants one of these days.

Interesting to see how much more neglected Mercury and Venus are compared to Mars.

I've been everywhere up to Jupiter, except her moons. Next up will be to go to those places, and then climb slowly out towards Pluto, visiting everything and possibly landing here and there.

I have flown to Mars, Jupiter (+Io and Europa), Saturn and Neptune. I have also visited planets in over a dozen other systems using MSSS. Of course, I use sci-fi based ships with ftl capability, mostly from Rag Tag Fleet so you might consider it a cheat (see my albums for pics).

I have been on all planets and moons available in my Orbiter installation. I have even reentered and "landed" on Jupiter in XR2.

Yea, I also "landed" on Jupiter. Also tried that with the new beta Orbiter, but was surprised when I smacked the ground at several km/s. Seems it has no atmosphere

It would be interesting if someone could make a piece of software where Orbinauts can record and update the locations that they're visited.

I've added both Mercury and Venus to the list of places that I've visited. I landed on Mercury with the Delta Glider, but not with enough fuel to get back. For Venus, I did the mission Venus Weather with the DGIV. Left a satellite in orbit and then returned to Earth. I got back with plenty of O2 and fuel, but snapped my gear upon landing. Everyone lived, though.

Now I need to visit Phobos and Deimos. I could do the Martian Bound VIP mission with the DGIV, but that violates my rule that the missions need to originate on Earth. Hmm....thoughts on this one? For those who don't know, the mission is a Mars bound mission starting above Titan.

Why not plan your own? If you leave soon (in the next couple of month or so, real time) there are good launch opportunities to Mars. That's one of things I love about Orbiter - just running it and seeing where I can go today. Using Piper's Porkchop generator, mid-October 09 offers the best launch opportunities.

I know that I could easily find opportunities for myself. However, I want to complete that mission anyway.

I reckon you should, Titan -> Mars/Phobos/Diemos is more challenging than Earth -> Mars.

Sounds good to me. I'll do that scenario some time soon and get those two moons under my belt.

It's a shame as Venus with the latest textures has the most beautiful orbital sunsets.
