OHM UCGO demolition charge

-Recompiled for O2010P1
-Fixed plasme reentry wash being the size of planet
-Added configurable yield
 
Is the yield in Megatons?
Yes, it is.
Maximum is 9999, minimum is 0.01 (UCGO name length limit).

Actually, stuff like 9e10 should parse as well, making the upper limit the universe-blasting 9e99 megatonnes.
 
Does increasing the yield increase the effective radius? I remember the stock one didn't have any effect past 50 km.
 
For the bloodthirsty... please remember that in RL, increasing the yield eightfold leads to (cubic root) only twofold (roughly) increase in radius.
 
I should try setting one of these off in the hangar of the Cortez. Who needs a jumpgate :lol:
 
Did the update change something major? I just set one off 5 km from a Descartes in Earth orbit and it didn't do a single thing to it. Changing the yield seems to have no effect either. I used to be able to launch "enemy" vessels into interstellar space using this.
 
The effect should be mitigated pretty strongly by distance. I set a 1MT charge off at 10km from a Shuttle PB, with both on the ground. It barely jumped. I was rather suprised. However, the UMMU right next to it was killed. :shrug: Guess I need to rerun this with the LoadMFD running... :idea: BRB! :leaving:
 
I seem to remember in the previous version that anything within 50 km got launched and "destroyed". I prefer that model a lot, IMFD and other course-planning MFDs aren't accurate enough to work with a 2 km wide area of effect.
 
Could you provide me with the earlier version of this Demolition Charge ?
If you tell what do you expect it to do that current one does not.

I may the only person with this issue to the demolition change but after i updated to the newer version, & I later unpack the Demolition charge in space or on the ground it shoots off into a direction at high speed instead of staying in one spot inside the blast zone.

If you could please provide me with this earlier version this might solve the issue for me, Thanks - I'll be on OMP TeamSpeak

 
HELP PLEASE

Anyone one else having issue with the Demolition charge launching itself into flight after it blows up after 10 mins ? this happens to me in my Orbiter version 100830

P.S.: Do you have a specific scenario where this happens, or does it happen all the time?
 
Thank you - Yes It happens in LEO or at Wideawake, once it's unpacked I set my viewing to Camera - "Current" view and wait 10 mins after that you may see it shoot off into a direction, This never happen before with the older version of the demolition charge, this started to happpen to me after I updated the demolition charge I had to his latest release version he clames is for Orbiter Version - 100830
